Seasonal Program Technician - Plant Material Development
About the Position: Irvine Ranch Conservancy (IRC) has an opening for a full-time seasonal Program Technician. The technician contributes to the delivery of projects and activities within the Plant Material Development program and is responsible for implementing project activities to deliver outstanding results on IRC’s project and commitments. This field-based position will be located primarily at the Irvine Ranch Conservancy’s Native Seed Farm.
The Successful Candidate will have a high school diploma or GED preferred but not required. No prior work experience required. The following experience, skills, abilities, and knowledge are helpful:
Hourly Rate: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour

IRC’s program uses wild seed collection, combined with traditional farming and nursery practices, to ensure that each restoration includes a diverse set of plant species adapted to local conditions.
