Program  Coordinator, Community Engagement & Education

About Irvine Ranch Conservancy: For more than 15 years, Irvine Ranch Conservancy (IRC) has been responsible for restoring, protecting, and maintaining more than 30,000 acres of protected natural lands in Southern California, one of the densest urban areas in the country. These lands are teeming with life — diverse plants and animals found nowhere else on earth. They need expert care to protect and restore them so they can continue to provide our communities with all the benefits that only wild, open spaces can. As an innovator in the management of  Southern California’s urban wildlands, IRC works in partnership with landowners, community leaders, and residents in Orange County and beyond to engage, educate, and foster a shared vision for responsible, long-term care and protection of the natural resources we all share.

About the Program: Community Engagement and Education is how IRC connects Southern Californians with the urban wildlands in their midst. IRC offers recreational and educational activities to familiarize community members with the richness of the Irvine Ranch landscape, providing them with meaningful experiences that inspire them to care for and protect the land.
