
The granite spiny lizard can grow up to 11 inches in length and has mostly dark coloring with keeled scales. Male lizards are usually more colorful than females with a blue belly, and blue-green and yellow coloring on their back. These lizards have a diet consisting of small invertebrates, small lizards, and occasionally fruits and flowers.
