People looking to explore local wilderness areas have a new and improved way to get outside. Irvine Ranch Conservancy announced today that the Irvine Ranch Natural Landmarks website has been redesigned and re-launched as www.LetsGoOutside.org.
The Conservancy manages the site (formerly www.irlandmarks.org) on behalf of the landowner partners and other partner organizations that work together within the Irvine Ranch Natural Landmarks. The nearly 40,000 acres of protected open space is designated as a National Natural Landmark, and now has a website with more photos, easier access and improved navigation.
The new account system will allow visitors to log in to the site, then register for multiple programs without having to re-enter contact information. The visitors will then receive registration information via email, and be able to view their upcoming activities through the “My Account” link. “So many of our visitors register for programs every week, so the My Account link makes it easier to keep track of their upcoming activities,” said Starnes.
The new site launched with August and September programs available for registration, in addition to a wealth of information about the unique and special locations that make up the Irvine Ranch Natural Landmarks. The former site, which will continue to manage registrations for July activities, will remain active until August 15. After that, the old site will automatically re-direct to www.LetsGoOutside.org.
Visitors are encouraged to create a registration account by visiting www.LetsGoOutside.org and clicking on “Register” at the top left of the page. After receiving a confirmation email, they can log in to their account on the site and begin registering for programs. Visitors with questions should email info@irconservancy.org.
