Begin the new year with an adventure at Wilderness Access Day in Black Star Canyon on Saturday, January 4 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Regardless of your level of fitness experience, visitors can explore the local plant communities and beautiful scenery in easy 30-minute walks or take in 7+ miles in a strong cardio trek. Irvine Ranch Conservancy, along with OC Parks, City of Irvine and the City of Newport Beach, offer various activities for the public to enjoy including biking, hiking, equestrian and restoration programs. There are also several parks open daily for the public to visit.
Enjoy the fresh air and exercise on the Irvine Ranch Natural Landmarks with friends and family during the winter season and beyond! Most activities are free with required pre-registration, which closes at 4 p.m. the day prior to the event. Minors ages 18 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.
