It’s officially spring, and the later daylight hours combined with mild weather are an invitation to get outside in the evening. To help you take your workout outside, www.LetsGoOutside.org is your source for a variety of convenient day and evening programs in the Irvine Ranch Natural Landmarks.
From easy family walks to challenging fitness hikes, it’s easy to find an activity that will let you enjoy the outdoors while taking in a spring sunset. The last week of March alone offers a different activity nearly every evening, and is indicative of the many activities offered every week by the Conservancy and its partners.
The weekend brings activities throughout the day, including evening programs for families. O’Neill Regional Park presents a regular campfire program for families, and in Round Canyon, families can watch for red-tailed hawks and mule deer during an easy hike before dinnertime.
Fitness hikes, family activities, mountain bike rides and more are offered year-round. These programs are free, and participants can register online by visiting www.LetsGoOutside.org/activities.
