Take the time this weekend to immerse yourself in all that the Landmarks have to offer by exploring seven-day access trails, including Emerald Canyon located in Laguna Coast Wilderness Park. Emerald Canyon can be accessed from a few different locations in the park, with trail routes ranging from easy to difficult.
The construction of the bridge involved intricate planning and heavy equipment in order to complete the restoration project, as well as close partnerships between Irvine Ranch Conservancy, OC Parks and the Laguna Canyon Foundation.
Irvine Ranch Conservancy, along with local landowners and partner organizations, works to help restore, protect, and enhance the Irvine Ranch Natural Landmarks through strategic programs. We encourage you to take the time to not only experience local trails during National Trails Day, but discover how you can help protect the natural habitats found in Orange County.
The Conservancy would like to thank its Infrastructure & Planning crew for maintaining existing trails and building new trails for visitors to enjoy on the Landmarks! The small three-person crew executes a wide variety of projects to ensure nature lovers can safely experience the beauty of our local native wildlands.
All seven-day access trails are open to the public daily from dawn to dusk. To learn more about the Irvine Ranch Natural Landmarks and seven-day access trails visit LetsGoOutside.org.
