Kim Casey - Manager, Volunteer Programs

Kim designs and delivers training opportunities for volunteers serving the Conservancy and its partner agencies. She has more than six years of experience working with volunteers and developing volunteer and youth outreach programs. Before coming to Irvine Ranch Conservancy, Kim spent seven years in a number of positions working for Inside the Outdoors, an environmental education program administered through the Orange County Department of Education. She worked in the field and in the classroom teaching students hands-on environmental science concepts, wrote curriculum for teacher training and student programs, was instrumental in developing the volunteer and service-learning programs, and also helped with grant writing, reporting, and budget tracking for the program. Kim has a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from California State University, Fullerton and studied at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC.
