Henry Hernandez - Restoration Field Crew Supervisor
Henry oversees field crews and contractors in the day-to-day implementation of the Conservancy's habitat restoration projects. This includes removing invasive and non-native plants, installing native plants, and monitoring sensitive plants and wildlife throughout the restoration areas. Henry studied Natural Resources at College of the Desert. Prior to joining the Conservancy, he monitored wildlife and removed invasive and non-native plants in Ocotillo Wells State Park. Henry also worked for the California Department of Fish & Wildlife, where he was a crew leader of the Tamarisk removal project, helped monitor endangered birds, and worked inside the hunters check station.
