Evan Hobson - Field Crew Supervisor
Evan is responsible for overseeing field crews and contractors while conducting daily activities in the Silverado Creek and West Loma Ridge habitat restoration projects. This includes removing invasive and non-native plant species, installing native plants, and monitoring sensitive plants and wildlife throughout the restoration areas. Prior to joining the Conservancy, Evan worked for an environmentally-conscious landscape company that specialized in native plantings, edible gardens, and sustainable practices. He also spent time in the San Bernardino National Forest as a conservation corps crew leader, working on post-wildfire habitat restoration and endangered montane meadow habitat restoration and monitoring. Evan graduated from the University of Redlands with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science.
