Early Morning Hike Through Historic Agua Chinon
Start your day on the Natural Landmark...

Early birds, this hike is just for you! Welcome the day with a brisk hike in nature. Come out and explore the Irvine backcountry on August 2nd at 6:30 a.m. The journey will be four hours and seven miles in distance. This will be a beautiful adventure in Agua Chinon. Hike through areas that burned during the 2007 Santiago Fire; witness the rebirth and re-growth of the land!

Participants will have an up close look at the impressive recovery of the ecosystem, including sprouting oaks, blooming wildflowers and re-sprouting sagebrush. This hike travels though a very sunny canyon; bring proper sun protection and adequate water!

It was always a pleasure to be around Vicki. She always brought energy to any group she participated in.
