Discover the Mysterious World of Animal Grossology...

Yuck! That Reeks! What was that??? The suspects are usually Skunks, Turkey Vultures and Dung Beetles --these animals are typically associated with being unappealing and unpleasant, but the appalling scent emitted by these animals helps them survive against the elements. What we consider to be gross is actually beneficial to the animal's survival. Discover the good side of our gross and smelly friends.

Docent Spotlight
Kimberlee with her husband John and two boys, Ian and Andrew

Kimberlee has been a docent for nine years having originally started with TNC and now works with the Irvine Ranch Conservancy. She is an outdoor enthusiast and avid mountain biker. Kimberlee enjoys discovering the wildlands and parks on The Irvine Ranch as she quenches her thirst for speed on her mountain bike. (read more)
