Constantin Raether - Restoration Field Crew Supervisor
Constantin oversees field crews and contractors in the day-to-day implementation of the Conservancy's habitat restoration projects. This includes removing invasive and non-native plant species, installing native plants, and monitoring vegetation, wildlife, and insects throughout the restoration areas. Prior to joining the Conservancy, Constantin was a biological science technician at Wind Cave National Park in South Dakota, where he conducted invasive plant control and removal, habitat monitoring, and wildlife and lichen surveys for the park. Constantin also held the position of Director of Sustainable Agriculture for the Cheyenne River Youth Project in Eagle Butte, South Dakota, and has volunteered with the California Native Plant Society conducting plant population surveys. He received a Bachelors of Science from Humboldt State University in Botany and is certified in Wilderness First Aid.
