Irvine Ranch Conservancy Employee Benefits
The Irvine Ranch Conservancy offers the following benefits to eligible employees.

Employees have the choice of:
Health savings account (HSA)
For employees on the high-deductible medical insurance plans, the Conservancy contributes $1,500 for individual coverage and $3,000 for family coverage. Amounts are prorated for new employees. Funds may be used for qualified medical, dental, and vision expenses. Employees may participate in voluntary salary deferrals, which allow employees to use pre-tax (federal) dollars to fund their portable accounts to the maximum annual limit.
Dental and vision plans
Dental plan is with Principal Financial Group and vision plan is with VSP. The Conservancy pays 100% of the employee's premium and 75% of the premium for any dependents.
Flexible spending account (FSA)
Voluntary participation in three flexible spending accounts, which allow employees to use pre-tax dollars to pay for certain qualified expenses:
401 K Retirement Plan
Voluntary participation in Principal Financial 401K Retirement Plan. Employees can contribute up to 100% of eligible pay, subject to annual maximums, through automatic salary deferrals. The Conservancy will match 100% of the first 3% of pay you contribute to the plan through salary deferral plus 50% of the next 2% you defer. All contributions are immediately 100% vested.
Life insurance
Fully paid by the Conservancy. Benefit is two times your annual earnings with a maximum benefit of $140,000. Optional benefit up to $425,000.
Short term disability insurance
Fully paid by the Conservancy. Maximum weekly benefit is 66.666% of your weekly pre-disability earnings to a maximum benefit of $1,615 per week, less other income paid to you because of your disability.
Long term disability insurance
Fully paid by the Conservancy. Maximum monthly benefit is 66.666% of monthly pre-disability earnings to a maximum benefit of $7,000 per month.

- Full time - 56 hours / 7 days
- New employee - prorated, no less than 24 hours / 3 days
Medical insurance
Employees have the choice of:
- Anthem Blue Cross high-deductible PPO plan with HSA
- Anthem Blue Cross HMO plan with $10 co-pay
- Kaiser high-deductible HMO plan with HSA
- Kaiser HMO plan with $15 co-pay
