Alex Spiczenski - Field Naturalist
Alex is responsible for coordinating and leading activities led by Conservancy-certified volunteers and staff. These activities can vary from interpretive and cardio hikes to stewardships. Alex can also be found hosting Wilderness Access Days every first and third Saturday of the month. Before joining the Conservancy, Alex taught environmental education in various locations including Catalina Island, Connecticut, and the Outer Banks of North Carolina. He also taught elementary students in Huntington Park, California. Alex has a Bachelor’s degree from Miami (OH) University. He will soon be a Certified Interpretive Guide and is currently certified in SCUBA and level 2 kayak.
